Erling Haaland revealed he’d be either a ‘rapper or a farmer’ had he not become a footballer and named his top 3 idols.

Haaland became a tremendous success for Borussia Dortmund upon joining from RB Salzburg in January.

He got off to a fairytale start by scoring a memorable hat-trick against Augsburg in a second-half cameo and scored another 10 goals to finish as the league’s sixth-highest scorer despite his limited time.

The 20-year-old’s exploits for Dortmund and Salzburg, who he scored 28 goals in 22 outings for last season, have made him one of the biggest young prospects in European football.

Manchester United, Juventus, and Real Madrid have all come calling over the last 12 months.

But had Haaland not been banging in the goals right now, he would’ve had plenty of career alternatives it seems.

Asked during a Q&A session on Twitter what would he be if he hadn’t become a professional footballer, Haaland replied: “A rapper or farmer.”

Of course, Haaland has always been a bit of a rapper and even recorded himself rapping the single ‘Kygo jo’ with his friends in some bizarre music video on YouTube in 2016.

The youngster also spent his summer vacation potato farming and cutting down trees in his native Norway alongside his father, Alf-Inge.

Haaland, meanwhile, also named Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Michu as his three biggest inspirations in football.
