Erling Braut Haaland scored his first international hat-trick as Norway cruised to Nations League victory against Romania.
Erling Haaland has scored the first of hopefully many hat-tricks to come on the international scene with Norway.
Borussia Dortmund’s star striker was in devastating form and put his side ahead inside 15 minutes.
Norway doubled their lead just before half-time thanks to a goal from RB Leipzig’s Alexander Sorloth.
Two second-half goals took Haaland’s tally for Norway to an impressive six goals in six games.
The victory comes just days after Norway lost to Serbia in their Euro 2020 play-off semi-final. It means they now sit top of their Nations League Group B1 with Northern Ireland up next.
Norway have scored in each of their last 18 matches since a 1-0 Nations League defeat against Bulgaria in September 2018. It is their longest run of scoring in over 50 years.
Haaland will be looking to continue his good form once again when Norway face their next opponents on Wednesday.
