The Ukrainian defender is hopeful that his side can get their hands on four trophies this season, his manager not so much.
Oleksandr Zinchenko insists Manchester City have an “unbelievable” squad and can achieve a quadruple this season.
Manchester City are the favorites to win the Premier League title as they sit atop the league table with an enormous 14-point lead.
The Sky Blues already have one foot in the Champions League quarter-finals, having won the Round of 16 first-leg 2-0. Many are backing them to go all the way through and clinch their first European title this term.
The Cityzens have booked a place in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup and are also through to the finals of the Carabao Cup.
Asked if they could win all the four major titles, Zinchenko replied, via Goal: “Of course.
“Bayern showed last year – they won everything, right? Barcelona did it as well the other year with Pep and I think, of course, everything is possible.
“We’ve got an unbelievable squad, the best players in the world. Definitely, why not?
“Inside the dressing room or inside the team I can see the hungry eyes, everyone is so hungry for the titles and that is what you want.”
Pep Guardiola, however, disagrees with Zinchenko saying no English team have won a quadruple before and that his side becoming the first one to do so is highly unlikely.
“I am older than Mr Zinchenko, I have more experience and I don’t agree with him,” Guardiola said.
“Zinchenko just has to be worried about a good game tomorrow and going through. This is the only way.
“Four titles has never happened [in England] before and I think it is not going to happen. We just think about the next one and then Goodison Park.
“Hopefully the players can come back safe and well from the international break because we play for important things.”
