The Spaniard admitted he has doubts about continuing his career at the Etihad Stadium.

Since joining the Citizens in 2016, Pep Guardiola’s time at Manchester City has been a story of consistent domestic glory. The former Barcelona boss is on course to lift his fourth Premier League trophy with Man City, but he is not sure whether he wants to continue his career at the club.

Speaking ahead of his side’s Premier League game against Crystal Palace on Saturday, Guardiola was asked whether he sees himself coaching the Citizens for another 200 domestic games.

“No, I don’t think so.” the 50-year-old manager responded.

He added: “I have had many years here, 200 games is for many years and because we won some games,

“There are no secrets. We are judged for the results – not for how good we are or bad we are. Just for the results.

“You can get this milestone because of what we have done decent with the players.

“I don’t have any regrets. I could not ask any more than we have done so far and I am more than delighted with what we have lived together. Hopefully in the years, we can continue to do well.”

Champions League glory is the only missing puzzle in Guardiola’s success story at Man City. Having been defeated by Chelsea in the competition’s final last season, Guardiola’s side hope to edge out their European rivals after adding fresh blood to their ranks in the summer.

Following their game against Crystal Palace, Man City will play their next Champions League game against Club Brugge on Wednesday.
