Antoine Griezmann has dismissed talk of an exit from Barcelona after saying he is happy at the club and sees his future at the Nou Camp.

Antoine Griezmann had quite a debut season in Barcelona colours.

Joining the Catalan giants as a proven goalscorer in La Liga, a lot was expected from him when he completed his big move last summer.

Despite 15 goals in all competitions for Barcelona last term, there was a sense of disappointment from Griezmann.

Post lock-down, the Frenchman struggled for game-time and was limited to cameos of few minutes on many occassions.

Of course, it all led to speculation that the forward could be allowed to leave the club this summer.

Griezmann has come out to dismiss any speculation about his future, saying he sees himself at the club long-term.

Newly appointed boss Ronald Koeman has lifted the spirits at the club a bit and the Frenchman is looking forward to a new era.

“Yes,” he replied when asked in an interview quoted by Marca if his future lies at the Camp Nou.

“I don’t know why people are making up other destinations.

“I’m happy at Barcelona and I know I have the confidence of the club and of the coach.

“So, I’m good.

“Last season was a tough season for everyone and now we’re ready to start again.”
