Los Carmenes was the place where Real Madrid visited Granada in the Spanish La Liga today. We have tonight’s player ratings for you.

Real Madrid needed an urgent victory against Granada on their visit to Los Carmenes in order to remain with chances to win La Liga. Atletico Madrid won a difficult match against Real Sociedad last night and it was Los Blancos’ turn. With FC Barcelona completely out of the race, we know that the trophy will go to Madrid but it’s still unclear to which side.

Tonight, Zidane decided to line up youngsters Marvin and Miguel from the start. Both of them played as full-backs on both sides of the pitch. The ladder served a brilliant assist to Luka Modric by dinking the ball above the Granada defenders. Just before the break, Rodrygo scored a wonderful solo goal that gave his side the lead by two goals. It seemed like an easy night for Zidane and his players. But Granada wanted to respond to the challenge during the second half in Los Carmenes.

Granada responds but Real Madrid gets the win.

It took us 25 minutes to see another goal in the second half, Molina scored on Granada’s side but it only served for Real Madrid to get more involved in the game. Alvaro Odriozola was the man who finally got to score the third goal of the evening. Only a few minutes after that, Karim Benzema sealed the win for Los Blancos.

This victory moves Real Madrid to La Liga’s second spot with 78 points and just two away from Atletico. For the final two games, the Colchoneros play Osasuna at home and Real Valladolid as visitors. Whereas Los Blancos have to visit San Mames and play against Villarreal at Alfredo Di Stefano Stadium. We are getting a thrilling final stretch of the season in Spanish football that nobody will want to miss.
