Los Carmenes was the place where Man United visited Granada in the Europa League quarter-finals. We have tonight’s player ratings.

Out of all the Europa League matches today, Manchester United against Granada was the most interesting by far. The Red Devils continue their road to the final of a tournament where they are considered favorites. This competition is completely theirs to lose and they proved to be a strong contender tonight. Granada is a surprise in the competition but they are far from Manchester United’s level at this moment.

However, they deserve all the credit for getting all the way to this point. During the first half in Los Carmenes, we got a surprise streaker who got some boredom out of the game. Eventually, Marcus Rashford added a goal to the match after an impressive assist from Lindelof. United needed just one goal to get more confident on the ball and controlled the rest of the game after this. Unfortunately, Mason Greenwood wasn’t able to score a goal and continued his negative streak.

Bruno seals the win for United.

Granada did their best with what they had, but they never truly created any real danger against the Red Devils. Even though they were always one goal away from the draw, they never were truly able to get closer. Near the end of the match, the modifications made by Granada’s manager were his downfall.

Eteki just got on the pitch and committed a stupid penalty that gave Bruno Fernandes the chance he was looking for. After scoring United’s second goal from the spot, it was clear the English club got a tremendous result. The return leg happens next Thursday at Old Trafford but their presence in the semifinals is pretty much a done deal.
