Another impressive stat from Afena-Gyan has seen the Ghanaian youngster finish the month with highest speed of any player.
AS Roma forward Felix Afena-Gyan was the fastest player in Serie A in January.
The 19-year-old Ghanaian clocked a top speed of 35.6 km/h to land this month’s award. Lazio striker Ciro Immobile and Juventus star Juan Cuadrado recorded a joint-second fastest time of 35.6 km/h.

This award marks yet another impressive milestone for Afena-Gyan’s blooming career. Since scoring his first two senior goals for Roma in November, the forward has gradually made his way into Jose Mourinho’s line-up. In fact, he has started two of the last three league games.
The teenager hopes to keep his impressive progress going next Saturday when Roma face Genoa in Serie A.
