Cristiano Ronaldo’s partner, Georgina Rodriguez, has given a definitive answer on the star’s Juventus future.
Georgina Rodriguez claims that Cristiano Ronaldo is ‘staying’ at Juventus.
Despite Massimiliano Allegri’s return as manager, Ronaldo’s future remains in doubt. The Juventus forward has a year left on his contract, but there have been claims he could leave this summer.
Reports have stated Ronaldo’s €31 million-per-year salary is a problem given the club’s financial problems from the COVID-19 pandemic, paving the way for swap deals involving Paul Pogba and Mauro Icardi.
But while filming a Netflix docuseries in the streets of Spain, Georgina was asked if CR7 is staying or leaving Juventus.
She replied: “He’s staying.”
So there you have it, Ronaldo looks set to continue with Juventus for at least one more year.
As things stand, the 36-year-old will become a free agent in 2022 and can then join any club he likes without restriction.
