Fred has had a tumultuous time at the Old Trafford and a move to Turkish Super Lig giants Galatasaray can end his Premier League misfortunes.

Brazilian holding midfielder Fred has been in a conundrum ever since he joined Manchester United. He has had to force his way into the starting eleven but continues to look from the outside.

Jose Mourinho sanctioned Fred’s arrival after none of his priority targets could be secured. The Special One’s replacement, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer does not seem him as a first-team regular.

Fred gave a good account of himself at the start of the season but has been consigned to the bench in the second half. Nemanja Matic and Scott McTominay both start ahead of him.

Daily Mail has reported that the 27-year-old can be put off of his misery as Galatasaray eye him as an addition.

The Turkish giants want to reinforce their ranks after a forgettable 2019/20 season. They finished sixth in the Super Lig and do not want a repeat in the coming season.

Fred is seen as an ideal addition to their ranks and will give Birhan Vatansever competition in Fatih Terim’s side.
