The Brazil international is on the mend after undergoing surgery on a knee injury he suffered at the World Cup.
Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus posted a brief update on his recovery from a serious knee injury on Thursday.
The 25-year-old is recovering from knee surgery after suffering an injury at World Cup with the Brazil national team. According to various media reports, he may miss up to three months of action.
However, while Arsenal have not set a return date for Jesus so far, the Brazilian shared a picture on social media, which showed himself on crutches and in a knee brace with the caption: “Progressing”.

Mikel Arteta won’t set a return date for Gabriel Jesus
While Mikel Arteta accepts Jesus won’t return soon, the Arsenal manager has repeatedly refused to put a date on when he expects the striker to be back.
“With Gabby, it’s very difficult to put a timeframe [on his recovery]. it was a significant injury and knowing him, I prefer not to give any dates away,” said Arteta in a press conference on Thursday.
“It will take some time for sure. Obviously, he’s going through surgery so that’s the extent of the injury.”
On the same day, Arteta also disclosed that Reiss Nelson will be out for some time with an injury. Emile Smith Rowe, however, is close to a return.
Premier League leaders Arsenal will be back in action on Monday for a Boxing Day derby with London rivals West Ham at the Emirates.
