Juve close to signing another American.

Juventus are closing in on sealing the transfer of Bryan Reynolds from MLS side FC Dallas.

The Bianconeri, however, do not have any more non-EU player spots available and will partner with Benevento to bring the 19-year-old full-back to Serie A.

Benevento will sign Reynolds on loan with an obligation to buy for $7 million but the future of the American youngster will remain in control of the Italian champions. [Sky Sports]

Emerson high on PSG shopping list.

Paris Saint-Germain have identified FC Barcelona’s Emerson as one of their top targets, with the club keen on reinforcing their backline.

The right-back is currently on loan at Real Betis and PSG plan on making a move for him in the summer. [Estadio Deportivo]

Spurs willing to retain Bale.

Tottenham are interested in having Gareth Bale in their squad beyond the end of the season.

Despite the player’s injury struggles, there is an optimistic feeling in the Spurs camp regarding Bale’s fitness. Also, he has helped improve squad harmony and has the trust of Jose Mourinho.

The north London side, however, are reluctant to make his transfer permanent and prefer signing the Wales international on another loan deal from Real Madrid. [Eurosport]

Romero bids farewell to Man Utd.

Sergio Romero has apparently already bid farewell to the Manchester United staff as he prepares for a possible exit in January.

The Argentine goalkeeper, who has been training separately since the start of the month, has been linked with a move to Boca Juniors.

Having fallen behind both Dean Henderson and David de Gea in the pecking order, Romero was not included in Man United’s Premier League and Champions League squads. [MEN]

Calhanoglu not satisfied with Milan contract offer.

AC Milan are set to proceed with contract negotiations with Hakan Calhanoglu‘s representative next week.  

The Serie A leaders have prepared a €3.5 million per season contract offer for the Turkey international. However, that is far from what the player wants as he demands double that figure.

Calhanoglu, as things stand, is set to leave the club for free at the end of the season. [Sky Sport]
