Real Madrid reject offer to sign €70m Juventus star
Real Madrid turned down the chance to sign Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic in the January transfer window.
Allegedly, Vlahovic told his agent, Darko Ristic, that he wanted to leave Juventus, a year after his €70 million arrival from Fiorentina. Real Madrid was the club on his mind. However, while a new striker is needed, Los Blancos have said no to this opportunity. They will use Rodrygo Goes as an alternative for Karim Benzema instead. [Libertad Digital – in Spanish]

Martinelli signs a new Arsenal contract
Arsenal forward Gabriel Martinelli has signed a new long-term contract at the club.
The 21-year-old Brazil international’s new deal will tie him down at the Emirates until June 2027. His previous contract would’ve expired at the end of next season, although Arsenal had the option to extend it until 2026. [Athletic – subscription required]
Will Pogba get the axe at Juventus?
Juventus are allegedly becoming impatient with Paul Pogba and are considering offloading the midfielder.
The 29-year-old France international rejoined the club on a free summer transfer from Manchester United. However, a knee injury has kept him out of the team all season, with not even a single minute of action to his name. Juventus aren’t happy and may even look to end Pogba’s contract. PSG refuse to give up on Bernardo Silva
Paris Saint-Germain remain hopeful of doing a deal for Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva.
The 28-year-old Portugal international is a reported target for Barcelona and Real Madrid. PSG, though, aren’t giving up. The Ligue 1 leaders are under pressure to reinforce their squad.
