Real Madrid plot to sign two Man City stars

The reigning Spanish and European champions will try to do transfer deals for Manchester City duo Erling Haaland and Joao Cancelo.

Real Madrid will first attempt to sign Cancelo at the end of the season. The 28-year-old full-back, who is under contract at City until 2027, might cost around €40-50 million. Carlo Ancelotti’s side will then target a move in 2024 for Haaland when his €180 million release clause becomes active. [AS – in Spanish]

Barcelona name their top target to replace Sergio Busquets

Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves is Barcelona’s top target to replace Sergio Busquets.

While Busquets denied reports linking him with a summer transfer to the MLS last week, the 34-year-old will be out of contract once the season ends. Barca already have Frenkie de Jong to fill his boots. But the Catalan club still want to reinforce the defensive midfield position.

Aston Villa have no intention to allow goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez to leave in the January transfer window.
