PSG open talks over shock swoop for Man Utd star

Paris Saint-Germain have approached Marcus Rashford’s representatives over a potential transfer to the Ligue 1 champions.

The 24-year-old forward has one year left on his contract at Manchester United with an option for another season. PSG are yet to open talks with the Red Devils, but Rashford is open to joining the club. [L’Equipe – in French]

Lodi is the latest left-back on Man City’s radar

Manchester City are interested in Atletico Madrid left-back Renan Lodi.

The reigning Premier League champions seek to fill a void at left-back following Oleksandr Zinchenko’s move to Arsenal. Sergio Gomez is on the verge of arriving from Anderlecht. The £11 million signing, however, could be loaned out, meaning Man City are considering alternatives.

Lodi is one player on Pep Guardiola’s list, but the 24-year-old Brazilian won’t come cheap. Raphael Guerreiro (Dortmund), Borna Sosa (Stuttgart), Kieran Tierney (Arsenal), and Rayan Ait-Nouri (Wolves) are also under consideration. [Telegraph – subscription required]

The Dennis transfer saga gains traction

Nottingham Forest have made a £20 million bid for Watford striker Emmanuel Dennis.

The 24-year-old Nigerian expects a transfer this summer, and with West Ham pulling out of the race to sign him, Forest have a clear path to go ahead and complete a deal. [The Athletic]

Bailly linked with a Marseille loan move

Marseille have contacted Manchester United over a loan deal for defender Eric Bailly.

Umtiti is holding out for Lyon

Despite Barcelona offering him a letter of freedom and paying part of his wages, Samuel Umtiti won’t be forced into a transfer.
