Man Utd tell Napoli how much they’ll pay for Victor Osimhen

Manchester United have indicated to Napoli they would pay a transfer fee of around €100 million (£84m) for Victor Osimhen.

The Nigerian striker has scored 16 goals in 28 appearances for Napoli this season. He has helped the club become title challengers in Serie A. This form has caught the eye of Premier League sides, including Arsenal and United.

That said, the Red Devils’ bid will probably need the green light from new manager Erik ten Hag first. [La Repubblica – in Italian]

Wan-Bissaka to return to Crystal Palace?

Crystal Palace are considering a loan move for Manchester United defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

The 24-year-old full-back is a product of Palace’s youth academy and made 42 first-team appearances. He left the club in 2019 for Manchester United in a €55 million transfer.

Any return to south London for Wan-Bissaka, however, will depend on incoming Red Devils boss Erik ten Hag. The Dutchman has yet to assess the squad he’s inheriting. [Athletic]

Salzburg forward Karim Adeyemi is the man Bayern Munich have in mind to replace Serge Gnabry.

Gnabry is out of contract in 2023 and the winger is yet to commit to a new deal. Therefore, Bayern may try to sign Adeyemi – a reported transfer target for rivals Borussia Dortmund – in the summer.

Borussia Dortmund have eyes on 19-year-old striker Adam Hlozek from Sparta Prague, 19-year-old Frenchman Hugo Ekitike from Stade Reims, and 18-year-old Benjamin Sesko from FC Salzburg.

Barcelona keep tabs on two promising young stars

During Monday’s UEFA Youth League final between the Salzburg and Benfica U-19 teams, Barcelona paid close attention to two players.

The first one was Cher Ndour. The 17-year-old midfielder scored the third goal of the game to help Benfica win 6-0. He previously played for the Brescia and Atalanta youth teams, and has represented Italy at U-18 level.
