Manchester United push for ‘bonus’ signing

Declan Rice could become the subject of a late transfer bid from Manchester United.

Despite his comments, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is pushing for a ‘bonus’ signing after all. The Red Devils boss wants a central midfielder and Rice is at the top of his list. But West Ham value the 22-year-old at £100 million, meaning United could be priced out of a move.

Should that be the case, Solskjaer could turn his attention to Yves Bissouma as an alternative. The Brighton star, though, doesn’t match the kind of profile he seeks in a midfielder. [The Indepedent]

Wolves reject Tottenham loan bid for Traore

Nuno Espirito Santo’s hopes of a reunion with Adama Traore in north London appear to have gone up in smoke.

Wolves want to keep the 25-year-old winger and, therefore, have rejected a loan offer from Tottenham, which included a £5 million loan fee. [Telegraph]

Ronaldo hands in a transfer request to Juventus

Cristiano Ronaldo, through his agent Jorge Mendes, has reportedly told Juventus he wishes to leave the club this summer.

Juventus would be willing to sell the 36-year-old for around €28m-€30m. They are currently waiting to hear from Manchester City, who are interested in offering Ronaldo a contract.

PSG could sign three new players if Mbappe leaves

Kylian Mbappe’s potential summer exit to Real Madrid could allow Paris Saint-Germain to make three new signings.

Erling Haaland (Borussia Dortmund), Paul Pogba (Manchester United) and Eduardo Camavinga (Rennes) could all arrive in the French capital if Mbappe indeed heads to Spain.

Los Blancos have made a second transfer offer for Kylian Mbappe worth around €170 million-plus €10m in add-ons.

Mbappe’s desire to leave Paris Saint-Germain for Real Madrid is clear to everybody. He will join the Spanish club either this summer for a hefty fee or next year as a free agent once his PSG contract has expired.
