Milan already want permanent stay for Brahim.

AC Milan are interested in signing Brahim Diaz on a permanent transfer. The Serie A side are already impressed with the performances of the Spanish winger, who joined the club from on a season-long loan deal Real Madrid over the summer.

Brahim has scored three goals in seven appearances across all competitions for the Italian side so far. [Calcio Mercato]

Pochettino offered Zenit job.

Mauricio Pochettino has been approached by Zenit St Petersburg, who are in search of a successor to head coach Sergei Semak. Semak has entered the final year of his contract and the Russian outfit have open talks with Pochettino over a potential takeover.

The Argentine tactician was relieved of his managerial duties by Tottenham in November 2019 and has since been out of work. [Championat]

Romero handed homecoming chance.

Manchester United’s Sergio Romero has been offered an opportunity to return to his native Argentina by Racing Club de Avellaneda – a club where he began his career.

The 33-year-old shot-stopper, who takes home around €110,000 (£100k) every week at Manchester United, however, would have to accept a pay-cut in order to complete his transfer to Racing Club. [Daily Star]

Liverpool not giving up on Koulibaly.

Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly is still a subject of transfer interest for Liverpool. The Premier League champions plan on launching a bid for the Senegalese center-back in January.

Virgil van Dijk’s long-term injury has left the Reds vulnerable in defense, and they view Koulibaly as an ideal candidate to replace him and then partner him at the back. [CalcioMercato]

De Vrij in line for Inter extension.

Inter Milan are planning on rewarding Stephan de Vrij with a new improved contract despite his current contract running through to 2023.

The 28-year old center-back has put in great shifts so far across the start of the new season, prompting eagerness in the Serie A side to tie him down for much longer. [Sportitalia]

Atleti put Trippier up for sale.

Kieran Trippier has been deemed surplus to requirements at Atletico Madrid. The full-back’s confidence, and hence his performance levels, has dropped in recent times, and he is no longer wanted by manager Diego Simeone.
