Bayern Munich & Dortmund to compete for Bundesliga star

Back to Borussia Dortmund again, and it seems they are now embroiled in a transfer race with Bayern Munich for SC Freiburg defender Nico Schlotterbeck.

Bayern think the 22-year-old German would be a perfect replacement for the Dortmund-bound Niklas Sule. But BVB are also keen to win his signature. Schlotterbeck is under contract at Freiburg until 2023. For either club to sign him this summer, it could cost as much as €25 million.[Kicker – in German]
