Real Madrid find a replacement for Lucas Vazquez

Lucas Vazquez’s contract expires at the end of the season. The 29-year-old hasn’t agreed on fresh terms for a deal with Real Madrid so far. Therefore, the club’s transfer chiefs are eyeing up replacements for next season.

One name reportedly on the shortlist is Jorge de Frutos. The former Castilla winger has had an impressive first season at Levante, whom he joined last summer in a €2m transfer. However, Real Madrid retain 50% of his rights and have the first refusal, making a potential deal a relatively straightforward process. [Marca]

Manchester United set their sights on Emiliano Martinez

Amid doubts over David de Gea’s future at Old Trafford, Manchester United are considering a replacement. Back-up keeper Dean Henderson would be the most likely choice. But it seems the club may favor outside options.
