Arsenal strike a deal for first signing of 2022
Arsenal have struck a transfer agreement with New England Revolution to sign American goalkeeper Matt Turner in the summer.
The Gunners will pay New England Revolution around $6 million (€5.4m/£4.5m) upfront. The fee could rise to $10m (€9m/£7.5m) with add-ons. The MLS side will also be entitled to a 10% sell-on percentage if Arsenal sell Turner in the future. [ESPN]
Liverpool reject Leeds & Monaco bids for Minamino
The Reds have turned down transfer approaches from Leeds United and AS Monaco for forward Takumi Minamino.

Ilaix Moriba set to join Valencia on loan
RB Leipzig midfielder Ilaix Moriba is on the verge of a loan move to Valencia until the end of the season.
There will not be an option to buy included in the deal, though. Leipzig are still confident that Moriba can be a success in Germany. The Guinea international joined the club last summer from Barcelona for €16 million. [Marca]
Diallo joins Rangers on loan
Manchester United winger Amad Diallo has joined Rangers on loan until the end of the season.
The Scottish champions have no buy option included as part of the deal for the 19-year-old Ivory Coast international.
