Arsenal launch £54m bid for ‘future captain’ White

The Gunners have reportedly made a THIRD offer of around £54 million for defender Ben White after Brighton rejected their first two transfer bids.

Arsenal’s revised offer includes a £48m payment upfront and £6m performance-related clauses. Brighton, who seek at least £50m for White, are yet to respond to this bid.

Pogba ‘increasingly open’ to PSG move

Paris Saint-Germain are confident of signing Paul Pogba from Manchester United in a cut-price £50 transfer million deal.

With only a year left on his Red Devils contract, Pogba is yet to announce his future plans. The midfielder is apparently tempted into leaving Old Trafford and is ‘increasingly open’ towards the idea of joining PSG.

The Parisians have already signed Sergio Ramos, Achraf Hakimi, Georginio Wijnaldum, and Danilo Pereira this summer. [Daily Star]

Giroud closes in on AC Milan deal

AC Milan have reportedly closed in on signing Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud.

The Italian club will pay Giroud’s £1 million release clause, along with his £3m wages, to sign him on a two-year deal until 2023 after Chelsea forced their hand by extending the Frenchman’s contract by another 12 months.

Talks between Giroud’s representatives and Milan remain ongoing over personal terms. [Mail]

Tevez to join the MLS?

Carlos Tevez is reportedly interested in a free transfer to the MLS and already has three offers from the United States on the table.

Tevez left Boca Juniors for the third and final time in June. The former Manchester City and Manchester United striker stated back then that he could still continue his career after some time away from football. [ESPNin Spanish]

Sampdoria set their price for Damsgaard

After starring for Denmark in Euro 2020, Mikkel Damsgaard has become a rumored transfer target for Tottenham and Liverpool.

Pjanic set to leave Barcelona soon

The Blaugrana want to offload Miralem Pjanic in the summer transfer window after just one season. Both the player and club wish to resolve things this week, ideally before pre-season begins.
