During a long interview with his club, a French left-back revealed he is convinced he can become the best in the world.

There are many great left-backs in the world, but this French player believes he can be better than any of them. He even has a brother who plays the same position and many consider better than him. If you haven’t guessed it by now, we are talking about Theo Hernandez. The Real Madrid product decided to play at AC Milan when he realized he had no chance with Los Blancos.

Born in Spain with a French mother, Theo truly brought back his career during his previous months in Milano. As of right now, he is considered one of Serie A’s most important full-backs and he seems to have a bright future ahead of him. His hype has grown so much, that he is even starting to have moments of grandeur by thinking he can be the best.

Theo adapted well at AC Milan.

During an interview with the club’s website, Theo revealed many different aspects of his time in Milano.

But his challenge was very interesting to hear: “There are many strong full-backs, but after the season I’ve done I can think I can become one of the best full-backs in the world.

“What I have to do is keep working and growing day by day, thanking also the coach, Paolo Maldini who brought me here and all my team-mates, who help me every day.”

“I had a very good season, now another one has started, just as good and here I am living the best years of my career. Here football is more tactical and physical, in Spain we think more about the possession phase,” he added.

“I have adapted very well to the Italian league, I liked it a lot, now I have to keep working. We have a very long season ahead and we hope it will be the best possible.”

“I came here to stay for a long time, even more so after the great season I had last year. From the first moment I was welcomed in the best possible way and here it is as if I were at home, I want to stay here again for a long time.”
