France got back to winning ways by beating Austria in a one-sided match.

France defeated Austria 2-0 in their UEFA Nations League clash on Thursday. A dominant second-half display saw Les Bleus cruise past their guests at Stade de France.

Mbappe scores again!

France started the game by quickly dominating the possession. However, their passes inside Austria’s half rarely ended in serious goal threats in the first period.

Didier Deschamps’ side looked more dangerous as soon as the second half started.

Olivier Giroud’s assist founded Kylian Mbappe, who dribbled past three Austrian defenders before smashing the ball behind the back of the net.

France continued their attacks, doubling their leads five minutes past the hour-mark.

Following a quick run and cross from Antoine Griezmann down the left-hand side, Giroud flew past the Austrian defenders inside the box before scoring a precise header.

Les Bleus then doubled down on their attacks to extend their lead. However, they couldn’t convert their chances and had to settle for the 2-0 win.
