The former Arsenal midfielder has been handed a career lifeline after being without a club for three months.
Jack Wilshere has agreed on a short-term contract with Championship side Bournemouth, according to reports from England.
The 29-year-old has been without a club since ending a disappointing two-year stint at West Ham United, with whom he made just 19 appearances. Aware his opportunities were limited, he opted to end his contract with the Hammers and become a free agent in October.
Despite links with Scottish Premiership leaders Rangers, nothing materialized. Therefore, Wilshere has been training with Bournemouth to regain fitness and he did enough to convince manager Jason Tindall to offer him a short-term deal.

Sky Sports states Bournemouth will make an announcement on their first signing of the January transfer window within the next 24 hours once Wilshere signs the contract.
The former Arsenal midfielder spent the 2016/17 campaign on loan with the Cherries, making 29 appearances in the Premier League to help the club secure a solid ninth-place finish.
He will hope to help Bournemouth regain their English top-flight status for this season in the Championship. Tindall’s men sit third in the standings and four points off an automatic promotion spot.
