Football fans worldwide have been eagerly anticipating the arrival of Football Manager 2024, patiently awaiting details about the latest instalment. 

So far, enthusiasts have been privy to hints about what to expect in the new chapter – notably, the 2024/2025 season – but specifics regarding the release date and exact contents have remained under wraps. However, an authoritative leak has now surfaced, shedding light on these key details.

FM24: Release Date and Prices

According to reports from Dealabs, Football Manager 2024 is set to be formally announced and unveiled on Tuesday, September 12. On this date, Sports Interactive is expected to reveal the official release date, scheduled for November 6.

Simultaneously with the reveal, pre-orders will open, offering a 10% discount on platforms like Epic Games Store, Microsoft Store, and Steam until the launch day. 

The price is set at €59.99 for PC and €49.99 for consoles. The game will launch on various platforms, including PC, Mac, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, iOS, and Android. Game Pass and Apple Arcade subscribers will also have access at no additional cost.

What We Know So Far

While details have been limited, there are some key features we already know about Football Manager 2024. Sports Interactive announced that it will be the first edition to support save transfers from one iteration to another. This means players can continue their careers starting in Football Manager 2023 in the new game.

However, Football Manager 2025, codenamed Project Dragonfly, promises a new graphics engine and completely revamped 3D graphics for a more realistic gaming experience, but that’s a story for another time.
