The World Cup winner is delaying committing his future to the Parisian club amid interest from Real Madrid.
Kylian Mbappe has been offered some transfer advice by his Georginio Wijnaldum, who suggests his new Paris Saint Germain teammate should just “follow his feelings”.
22-year-old Mbappe finds himself at the crossroads of his career as he has two very tempting choices put in front of him.
Real Madrid are reportedly desperate to sign him as their next Galactico while Paris Saint-German are equally – if not more – desperate to keep hold of him and are supposedly willing to make him their highest earner.
Now, he could either decide to follow in the footsteps of some of his idols such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Zinedine Zidane and move to Santiago Bernabeu or stay put at Parc des Princes to further cement his legacy as an all-time great of the club.
“Everyone wants Mbappe to stay, starting with me because he is one of the reasons that made me come to PSG, to play with players like him,” said Wijnaldum, speaking to RMC Sport.
“I was already very happy to see that Neymar had extended.
“I’ve been in that position too and most of the time you follow your feelings. I just hope he stays at PSG because the club are doing their best to make this team the best in the world.”
