The former Arsenal and Real Madrid midfielder is out of the squad for an unspecified reason.
Fenerbahce have excluded Mesut Ozil and fellow midfielder Ozan Tufan from the first-team squad.
Ozil has been a key player for the Turkish club this season, supplying eight goals and two assists in 22 league games. He also captained the team in his last two outings, including the 2-1 win over Konyaspor last Sunday.

But the 33-year-old was hauled off at half-time during that match and is now suspended for an unspecified reason and amount of time.
“Our Football A-Team players Mesut Ozil and Ozan Tufan have been excluded from the squad as per the decision taken. It is announced to the public,” read a statement from Fenerbahce.
Fenerbahce are third in the Super Lig table after 30 games, 13 points behind leaders Trabzonspor and two behind second-placed Konyaspor.
The Yellow Canaries return to action on April 2 away to Kayserispor after the international break.
