It’s time to take a look at the FC Barcelona vs Real Betis player ratings in another La Liga match played at Camp Nou stadium on Saturday.

It was a crucial night for FC Barcelona against Real Betis this evening. The Catalan club is trailing behind the rest of the major La Liga clubs in the 12th position. Tonight, Ronald Koeman made a decision that surprised everybody after leaving Messi on the bench. He opted for Griezmann, Ansu Fati, and Dembele on the attack. During the first half, only the teenager didn’t perform at the level the supporters expected.

Both French forwards were on point in order to give FC Barcelona a proper chance to win the game. However, Real Betis responded to Ousmane Dembele’s gorgeous opener through Sanabria. The game went to the break with a tie because Griezmann missed a penalty before Betis scored their goal. We all knew that Messi would be utilized only if the game got more complicated, which is exactly what happened. Koeman didn’t hesitate, he took Ansu Fati out at half time and gave Messi the lead.

Leo returns with a bang.

It took Messi four minutes to leave an impression. He made a beautiful movement inside the box that left Antoine Griezmann alone in front of the goalkeeper. The Frenchman got to score his goal after missing the penalty during the first half. But Messi was just getting started. Dembele provoked a penalty after Mandi committed a handball inside the box that VAR had to call. Leo scored his first goal of the evening from the spot, but he wanted to leave his stigma behind.

Loren Moron got to score another one from Betis after an assist from Moreno that gave the match some excitement. But Leo was on a mission, he scored his second goal after a backheel assist from Sergi Roberto. In the end, Pedri scored Barcelona’s fifth goal with a tap in. This 5-2 result leaves them in a good place ahead of the next international break.
