Lucien Favre has confirmed that Borussia Dortmund is working on a deal to sign Reinier on loan from Real Madrid.
Borussia Dortmund are continuing to work on building a side jam packed full of youthful prodigious talent.
They have the likes of Jadon Sancho and Erling Haaland, and they have added Jude Bellingham already. Now it looks like they are working on a deal that would see teenage Brazilian talent Reinier arrive on a loan from Real Madrid.
The 18-year-old attacking midfielder arrived at the Santiago Bernabeu in January and has been working with Castilla. But Zinedine Zidane wants him to gain some valuable top-flight experience.
Dortmund struck up a similar deal with Real for Achraf Hakimi. Who although he was sold off before he could return to Madrid, Dortmund played a huge part in his development.
Favre is eager to offer his services once again. The Dortmund boss confirmed that a deal is in the works and he is excited at the prospect.
He told Sport1:
“We want to loan him, but it’s not done yet. It’s in the pipeline.”
“He’s a nine-and-a-half and can also play as a false striker and on the wing.”
“From what I’ve seen, he’s very good offensively and a very, very good finisher.”
