The fans’ picks for UEFA Team of the Year are the ones that come out later than the rest, Cristiano Ronaldo was part of 2020’s rendition.

Cristiano Ronaldo has been a constant favorite of the fans for UEFA’s Team of the Year and 2020 was no different. The Portuguese star had a tremendous year with Juventus in Serie A but he wasn’t so lucky in the Champions League. However, he was still the second-highest goal-scorer of the year just below Robert Lewandowski. To the players, the fans’ picks for team of the year are the most important because players would be nothing without them.

So, making this prestigious list every season is of paramount importance for all of them. Inside the 2020 rendition, we have a combination of various top talents who had a great year despite the circumstances. However, some of you might not agree with the final selection and could think one of these players shouldn’t be on the list.

Ronaldo, Messi, Neymar, and Lewandowski.

Let’s start with the back, shall we? Manuel Neuer gets the goalkeeper’s spot, that is no surprise. The defensive line has Joshua Kimmich on the right. Sergio Ramos and Virgil van Dijk in the middle. We also have Alphonso Davies as a left-back. No surprises there. In midfield, we have a duo formed by Kevin de Bruyne and Thiago Alcantara.

On the offense, we have Neymar on the left, Messi as a playmaker, and Ronaldo on the right. And last but not least, we have Robert Lewandowski as the striker. This is the 2020 Dream Team that the fans picked on the UEFA official website. Some of you might think Kylian Mbappe deserved a spot on this list of players, but who would you take off?
