Super agent Mino Raiola has dismissed rumors claiming Zlatan Ibrahimovic has signed a new contract with AC Milan.
Milan remain in talks with Ibrahimovic but are yet to agree terms on a contract extension.
The big Swede has done pretty well since re-joining the club on a six-month deal in January.
Ibrahimovic contributed with 10 goals and five assists in 18 Serie A appearances. He was instrumental in the Rossoneri’s strong finish to their campaign. Considering how they started, finishing in sixth place wasn’t bad at all.
Following his performances since the turn of the year, the Milan hierarchy were happy to consider a contract extension for Ibrahimovic.
Rumor was that the 38-year-old would get one more year of football at the San Siro.
Just yesterday, reports made the rounds Ibra had signed a new deal subject to announcement by the weekend.
Mino Raiola has come out to dismiss reports he labelled as ‘fake news’.
In truth, Milan are in talks with Ibrahimovic regarding a new contract.
But the situation remains the same and nothing has been agreed at the moment.
