The transfer guru has issued an update on CR7’s possible departure from Man United.

Sky Sports journalist Fabrizio Romano has claimed Cristiano Ronaldo is not keen to leave Manchester United this summer.

Reports around Ronaldo’s potential move away from Man United have intensified after the Red Devils failed to secure a place in the next season’s Champions League.

The Portuguese Superstar will miss out on the top-tier European tournament for the first time in 20 years if he stays at Old Trafford next season.

The arrival of Erik ten Hag as United’s next coach and his recruitment plans have also contributed to uncertainty over Ronaldo’s future.

However, a new report from renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano claims CR7 is not pushing for a summer exit.

Speaking on the Wondergoal podcast, Romano said: “So I was checking given few days ago on Cristiano’s side. What is the feeling about these Manchester United rumours? With his future? What is going to happen?

“And the answer I’m receiving is Cristiano is not desperate to leave. Cristiano is not planning to leave the club or is not disappointed by the club.”

Despite United’s struggles this season, Ronaldo has managed to maintain a brilliant form. The five-time Ballon d’Or winner has scored 18 goals and provided three assists in his 30 appearances for the Red Devils this season.

With Ronaldo’s contract running until 2023, most observers believe Ten Hag will give him a role in his United squad for the next season. However, the Portuguese might have to deal with limited game time and a rotational role in the team.
