Ace Football presents detailed betting tips on the upcoming FA Cup games of the mid-week.

As we prepare for another round of FA Cup football, our experts take a look at the bookmakers’ predictions for the upcoming matches.

Let’s check out three betting tips for the 5th round of the FA Cup.

Expect goals on both ends when Southampton host West Ham

One of the closest ties of the fifth round sees Southampton take on the Hammers. Ralph Hasenhüttl’s side have been unbeaten in their last six games, beating their last two rivals with similar 2-0 results.

However, this week we expect West Ham to challenge the Saints’ defensive integrity with their great attacking form. The Hammers, however, have not been so great defensively.

David Moyes’ men have kept only on two clean sheets in their last seven games. Therefore, we expect both sides to concede goals on Wednesday.

Goals likely when City face Peterborough

Manchester City’s immense attacking power is not a secret, but they have been even more clinical in recent weeks. Pep Guardiola’s men have scored 19 goals in their last six games.

We don’t expect the Spaniard to use his regular starters ahead of the Manchester derby. However, we still expect the Citizens to go into the second half while being already ahead.

Back Huddersfield to knock out the Forest

Both sides are from the Championship, and both have come a long way to get into the fifth round. Forest defeated Leicester in their last FA Cup battle while Huddersfield eliminated Burnley in the round before.

It will be a tough game between the two sides, but we expect the Yorkshire side to beat Nottingham Forest. Huddersfield have enjoyed incredible form lately, remaining unbeaten in their last 16 games. They sit third on the Championship table and are one of the main candidates to clinch the Premier League promotion.
