Carlo Ancelotti wants to bolster his ranks and the Toffees are actively looking to add Allan, Doucoure, and Paulinho to their ranks.

Everton were struggling in the bottom half of the Premier League table when Carlo Ancelotti was hired.

Fresh from his sacking at Napoli, Ancelotti turned around the club and they finished in 12th place. Closer to Europa League slots than to relegation.

The Italian tactician has changed the approach at Goodison Park. Dominic Calvert-Lewin has impressed under him, while Richarlison continues to make the headlines.

Everton believes that they can break into the top six with Ancelotti at the helm. They are willing to fulfill his wishes and have given him free rein to add to his ranks.

The former AC Milan, Bayern Munich, and Chelsea coach has shortlisted Allan, Doucoure, and Paulinho as priority additions. Allan played under Ancelotti at Napoli, while Doucoure and Paulinho have impressed at Watford and Sporting Braga.

Gianluca Di Marzio believes his wishes will be fulfilled and the players will be in Merseyside soon.

“Carlo Ancelotti wants new players for Everton. Not only Allan from Napoli but also Doucoure from Watford and also the Roma winger Alessandro Florenzi, who was on loan at Valencia last year. These are two targets of Ancelotti,” Di Marzio told Sky Sports

“Also I was in Lisbon, so I knew that, from Portugal, Paulinho – the Sporting Braga striker – could be a new striker going into Wolverhampton Wanderers.”

Meanwhile, Everton forward Moise Kean has been linked with a return to Italy. However, those speculations have been rebuffed by Ancelotti
