Let’s take a look at the Premier League Player Ratings from the showdown between Everton and Manchester United.

Manchester United came back from a goal down to claim a memorable 3-1 win over Everton on Saturday afternoon to ease some pressure off Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

A third consecutive defeat seemed on the table early on when Dominic Calvert-Lewin flicked on Jordan Pickford’s kick for Bernard to find the bottom corner of the United goal to hand Everton a 19th-minute.

But the ever-reliable Bruno Fernandes came to the visitors’ rescue to complete a quick-fire comeback inside 13 minutes.

Juan Mata played the ball down to Luke Shaw on the left, with the full-back supplying a ball in the middle of the park for Bruno to head in United’s equalizer. Then, after just seven minutes, the Portuguese did it again – albeit somewhat unintentionally.

Fernandes provided a chipped cross that was intended for Marcus Rashford only for the ball to go inside the far post to put the Red Devils in front.

Edinson Cavani, who replaced Anthony Martial in the last eight minutes, then scored his first goal for United in extra-time by finishing off a counter-attacking manoeuvre.

The victory sees Solskjaer’s side move seven points clear of the relegation zone in 13th for now. They’ve also avoided the unwanted record of making the club’s worst start to a league campaign since 1990/91.

Everton, on the other hand, missed out on the opportunity to move back into top spot in the standings. The hosts have now lost three games in a row and remain fifth for the time being. Had Pickford not made some good saves though, the deficit could’ve been greater.
