The Europa League’s last 16 draw has been concluded with all the 16 remaining clubs discovering their fate in the latest knockout round.

The Europa League last 16 draw took place on Friday afternoon at the UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.

Four British clubs, two Spanish and Italian sides made the cut. And with no seeding or country protection at this stage, nothing was impossible for this draw. There could’ve been a north London derby, Rangers vs Manchester United, AC Milan or Roma, and so on…

So here are the fixtures for the last-16 to be played March 11 to 18.

  • Ajax vs BSC Young Boys
  • Dynamo Kiev vs Villarreal
  • AS Roma vs Shakhtar Donetsk
  • Olympiakos vs Arsenal
  • Dinamo Zagreb vs Tottenham
  • Manchester United vs AC Milan
  • Slavia Prague vs Rangers
  • Granada vs Molde

But that wasn’t the case, with some entertaining fixtures ahead of us. Manchester United and AC Milan is easily the most eye-catching one. While Arsenal and Olympiakos meet again at the last 16 stage. The Greek club, of course, knocked the Gunners out in shocking fashion last season.

Granada, who have reached the last 16 for the first time, meet Molde. Villarreal, on the other hand, have a tricky tie with Ukrainian giants Dynamo Kyiv.

What are the key dates?

  • March 11 & 18: Round of 16
  • April 8 & 15: Quarter-finals
  • April 29 & May 6: Semi-finals
  • May 26: Final (Gdansk, Poland)
