The Norwegian striker has taken the Premier League by storm since arriving at Etihad.

Erling Haaland’s agent believes the Manchester City star’s market value should be €1billion.

The Citizens activated a £51.2 million release clause to bring Haaland in from Borussia Dortmund last summer. Since then, the 22-year-old has scored 32 goals for his side across all competitions.

City were not alone in the transfer race for Haaaland, with the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona also showing interest in signing the Norway international. However, prizing away Haaland from Man City won’t be an easy task for any club.

“Erling Haaland is worth €1 billion. That’s not a guess, I’m sure of it,” Pimenta told French broadcaster Telefoot.

“They might say I’m being ridiculous, that a club is not going to pay a billion, but his age, his quality, his progression and the way he behaves is why I talk about a billion.

“The future is unknown, but it’s coming.”

Bayern Munich were another club that were seriously considering a move for Haaland. Their efforts reportedly paved the way for Robert Lewandowski‘s exit last summer, but the Bundesliga giants couldn’t beat City in the transfer race.

“Haaland is interesting for every top club in the world. We had the best chances (to sign him) alongside Manchester City,” Hainer told Mediengruppe Bayern in November last year.
