The Norwegian striker has taken the Premier League by storm since arriving at Man City last summer.

Erling Haaland agent Rafaela Pimenta has named Real Madrid as a “dreamland” for all football players.

The Blancos were among the clubs that pushed to sign Haaland from Borussia Dortmund last year. But Manchester City managed to reach an agreement with the Norway international after activating his release clause.

Since then, Haaland has scored 33 goals for the Citizens, leading the scoring charts of the top five leagues. His incredible performances have raised endless speculations over his possible next move.

There have been rumours about a release clause in Haaland’s contract that allows him to leave for Real Madrid next summer. Pep Guardiola has denied such a possibility, but Pimenta was reluctant to write off a move to Santiago Bernabeu.

“There is the Premier League, and there is Real Madrid. Real Madrid has something of its own that makes it the dreamland for the players,” Pimenta said at the FT Business of Football Summit

“Madrid keeps this magic going. They don’t have the league competition every week, but they do have the Champions League.”

Asked whether Haaland’s representatives already have a plan for his future moves, she added: “We have to make a plan, we need to have a goal.

“Maybe we won’t achieve it, but if we don’t know where we’re going, then for sure we don’t get there.

“We make plans, yes, we make plans even if they are a 15-year-old. We cannot be sitting down and waiting.”
