The Red Devils will compete in Group A of the UCL.
Manchester United have named their 25-man squad for the group stage of the Champions League.
Erik ten Hag has included all of his side’s summer signings in the list. Jadon Sancho, whose relationship with the Dutchman has worsened in recent weeks, is also part of the squad.
Left-backs Tyrell Malacia and Luke Shaw have also been selected by Ten Hag despite their injuries. However, Ten Hag has dropped Donny van de Beek, whose difficult spell at Old Trafford continues.
The former Ajax star was linked with a move away from United during the summer transfer window. But he ended up staying at the club despite interest from several English and Italian sides. Ten Hag has kept Van de Beek out of his squad for United’s latest three fixtures.
Alejandro Garnacho is also dropped from the A-list due to injury, but he can be added to the team’s matchday squad through a B-list before the games.
Man Utd will compete against Bayern Munich, Galatasaray, and FC Copenhagen in Group A of the Champions League. The Red Devils will face Bayern in their first UCL match of the season on September 20.
