The Blues have shown interest in a summer move for Paulo Dybala.

Enzo Fernandez has encouraged Paulo Dybala to complete a move to Chelsea ahead of the next season.

Dybala spent a fantastic debut campaign at Roma last season, registering 18 goal contributions across all competitions.

His performances have attracted interest from several top clubs, with Chelsea emerging as the favourites to sign him this summer.

Speaking to Ole on Tuesday, Fernandez reacted to transfer rumours around his Argentina teammate.

“I hope he comes,” the Chelsea star said.

“I talked to him and told him that I’m waiting for him to share a barbecue or something. I need one to share the mates, heh.”

According to widespread reports in Italian media, Dybala’s release clause for non-Serie A sides is set at around €12m (£10.25m).

Mauricio Pochettino has reportedly considered signing his countryman during his stints at Paris Saint-Germain and Tottenham. However, Calciomercato claims there’s still a high possibility that Dybala would sign an improved contract at Roma this summer.

Earlier this week, Dybala told LaRoma24 about his future: “I’m motivated for pre-season, which we’re starting [on Monday]. My future? I’m happy at Roma. I’m staying here.”
