England suffer Nations League relegation!

Italy started the game on a better note, hoping to find their rhythm early on. However, their inability to create any chances led to an eventless first half.

England continued struggling to find their feet in the game throughout the second period. But, Italy managed to snatch the match-winner through the game’s only meaningful attempt in the 68th minute.

Giacomo Raspadori received Leonardo Bonucci’s long ball before curling home a sublime shot to make it 1-0 for the hosts.

The Azzurri remained in control of the game while England failed to prevent their relegation at San Siro.
