The former Premier League star has named the four clubs that will qualify for the Champions League at the end of the season.

Emile Heskey expects Manchester City to win the Premier League ahead of Liverpool and Chelsea in a three-horse race.

The former Liverpool and Leicester striker thinks Manchester City have the edge in the title battle, despite a 1-0 opening day defeat to Tottenham. In comparison, all their main rivals claimed three points in their respective opening fixtures.

As for the final spot in the Premier League top-four, Heskey reckons it will go down between Manchester United and his old club Leicester.

“For me, it’s Man City again,” he told talkSPORT.

“Even after the Spurs game, I still think you know what you’re going to get with them, they’re arguably slow starters but once they get going it’s hard to stop them.

“I think for Liverpool it’s just getting the momentum. They’ll be there or thereabouts. I still have them and Chelsea in that three-horse race really. That’s my views on it.”

On who will make the final top-four spot, Hesky laughed: “And Leicester!

“Look, United will be there or thereabouts. Leicester will want to break into that, and I hope they do. But you’re probably saying United will be in there, really.”
