The Belgian star is yet to join a club after leaving Real Madrid as a free agent.

Eden Hazard is reportedly uninterested in joining Inter Miami ahead of the next season.

The former Chelsea star ended his disappointing spell at Real Madrid earlier this summer. Inter Miami, who have also signed Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets, and Jordi Alba, have emerged as suitors for Hazard.

However, it seems the 32-year-old is not keen to join the Major League Soccer (MLS) side. According to Voetbalkrant, Hazard prefers to continue his career in Europe.

In recent weeks, reports have also emerged of Anderlecht’s interest in bringing Hazard back to Belgium. However, the club are yet to enter negotiations with the forward.

The Athletic have claimed that Hazard could retire from football if he doesn’t find a club this summer.
A disastrous transfer

Hazard’s Real Madrid nightmare started with a £103.5m move in 2019. The Belgian star arrived at Stamford Bridge on the back of an incredible spell at Chelsea, which saw him register 110 goals in 352 matches for the Blues.

An ankle fracture saw Hazard undergo surgery before making his debut at Real Madrid. But that was only the beginning of his fitness issues at the club.

Over the next four years, Hazard picked up 18 injuries, missing a total of 77 games for the Blancos. The former Belgium international spent 498 days out of action, making only 76 appearances for Real Madrid.
