Barcelona secure a vital victory as they edge closer to knockout round qualification.

Barcelona defeated Dynamo Kyiv 1-0 in their Champions League game on Tuesday. The Catalans secure their second place in the group standings by a hard-fought win.

Fati clinches the victory!

Barcelona made a poor start to the game, being close to conceding the opener multiple times during the first half. However, the Catalans managed to put pressure on the Ukrainian side’s defence in the second half.

After a few missed chances, Ansu Fati finally broke the deadlock in the 70th minute. The new Barcelona number 10 received Mingueza’s searching cross and smashed it past the keeper with a precise strike.

Barcelona move to second place on the Group E table behind Bayern Munich. Benfica are chasing them with four points, but they can’t decide Barca’s fate if the Catalans manage to beat them.

The Blaugrana will play their next La Liga game against Celta Vigo on Saturday. The Catalans will then travel to Munich for another Champions League game next week.
