Paulo Dybala’s agent Jorge Antun reveals what is actually going on at Juventus with his client.

Since the sacking of Maurizio Sarri and the appointment of Andrea Pirlo at Juventus, the future of Paulo Dybala has been thrown into turmoil.

For the young Argentine striker, it must feel like deja vu.

Last summer, after Max Allegri’s decision to step down and Sarri taking the helm he was linked with the Allianz Stadium exit door. Apparently deemed surplus to requirements.

Another change of manager and another rumor mill merry-go-round. The story goes Pirlo has to get rid of Ronaldo or Dybala, the club cannot afford to keep both.

Ronaldo earns €31M a year and Dybala is entering the latter stages of his current deal and wanting somewhere in the region of between €15M and €20M if he is to sign an extension.

What may be concerning for the Juventus faithful, is that the club has not really come out firmly and squashed any of the rumors.

However, Dybala’s agent Jorge Antun has given an update on where his client currently stands.

In an interview reported by Goal, he is claiming fake news.

He said:

“I have read the rumours in the newspapers through the last few days and they’re completely false.”

“Paulo Dybala is a Juventus player and happy to be one. We’ll work with the club to renew the contract with our usual attitude as always.”

Does that mean if Juventus are keeping quiet and Dybala is still negotiating, then Ronaldo is heading for the exit door instead?
