The Dutch star’s performances in the World Cup have attracted interest from several clubs.

Denzel Dumfries will be “difficult” to transfer in January if his market value increases, according to agent Rafaela Pimenta.

The right-back is currently on international duty with Netherlands as they prepare for the World Cup quarter-finals.

Dumfries’ brilliant performances so far in the tournament have convinced his suitors to accelerate their efforts to sign him.

Meanwhile, Inter’s financial problems have forced them to seriously consider selling Dumfries. The 26-year-old’s performances in the World Cup might increase the Nerazzurri’s demands.

“I hope his value doesn’t increase, otherwise it will be difficult to transfer him,” Pimenta told Sky Sport Italy.

Pimenta’s comments confirm the player himself is keen to take on a new challenge this winter.

Manchester United have remained a possible destination for the Dutch defender. Erik ten Hag’s side will most likely try to increase their squad depth at the right-back position.

However, the Red Devils might face serious competition from Chelsea and Tottenham.

Earlier this month reports emerged of Spurs contacting Inter over a possible move for Dumfries. if Milan Skriniar signs a new deal at San Siro this winter, the Nerazzurri will most likely try to offload Dumfries as soon as possible.
