Signal-Iduna-Park was the place where Borussia Dortmund hosted the DFB Pokal match against Ingolstadt. We have the player ratings.

Borussia Dortmund came into this match without their super-striker Erling Haaland hoping to grab an easy win over Ingolstadt in the DFB Pokal second-round game.

On paper, this encounter looked pretty easy for the yellows and blacks, however, the visiting team did not concede a single goal up until late in the match.

The local boys completely dominated the pitch with 83 per cent of possession and overall 18 shots, out of which 5 were on target. Though, they could not break through the Ingolstadt defence.

But, a late substitution changed the game around as Thorgan Hazard came on in the 71st minute. The young Belgian immediately made an impact on the game with a tap-in goal in the 72nd minute.

And just after nine minutes from the opening goal, Hazard netted the second goal with a right-footed shot from close range. Both his goals were assisted by Julian Brandt.

Indeed, it was a display of pure patience and determination from Dortmund as they managed to snatch a win despite losing their No.1 striker, Haaland.
