The Blaugrana have reportedly completed their first signing of the summer transfer window in Franck Kessie.
AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie has signed a four-year contract until June 2026 to join Barcelona on a free transfer this summer.
That’s according to Fabrizio Romano. The renowned transfer journalist claims Kessie has completed a medical and signed a deal, just days after reaching a verbal agreement with the club. He will earn around €6.5 million net in salary per season at Camp Nou.

As a result, Kessie will bring the curtain down on a five-year stay at AC Milan once his contract expires at the end of the season.
The Ivory Coast international joined the Rossoneri on an initial two-year loan deal from Atalanta in 2017. During this period, he quickly established himself with an array of impressive performances. It led the club to sign him in 2019 permanently for a €24 million fee.
Kessie has since made 214 appearances for AC Milan, supplying 36 goals and 16 assists in all competitions.
The 25-year-old’s progress reportedly stirred interest from several clubs including Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, and Manchester United. But Barcelona have been the clear favorites for weeks.
And it appears they’ve got their man.
