The Argentine star’s future is still uncertain ahead of the next season.
Angel Di Maria leaves Paris Saint-Germain as a free agent seven years after his arrival from Manchester United.
The Argentine star, who won five Ligue 1 titles and four French Cups at Parc des Prince, must now decide on his next move.
According to reports from Spanish and Italian sources, Juventus remain in pole position to sign Di Maria. However, Barcelona and Argentine side Rosario Central have also shown interest in signing the experienced winger.
“Juventus are the biggest club in Italy and one of the teams interested in me,” he told TNT Sports. “Right now I am thinking things through, but I am focused on my holidays and family.
“Barcelona are one of the best teams in the world and I have always had to play against them in the past.”
Di Maria won’t have a lot of time to settle in his new club before heading to Qatar for the 2022 World Cup. Despite playing a crucial role in Argentina’s Copa America and World Cup qualifying campaigns, the former Real Madrid star is not sure he will receive a call-up for the tournament.
“The only one guaranteed to be in is Lionel Messi,” he added.
“Four months from now you don’t know. I have to change clubs, adapt again, play and feel good – that will make a difference.”
